The dashboard.
Everything you can do with your account lives at /dashboard, behind login.
The sidebar
Always visible on the left, it shows:
- Your avatar (just the first letter of your username) and your username
- A link to your live subdomain,
username.myjay.net - A storage bar showing used space out of your account's total quota, see file types & limits
- Three tabs: Files, Stats, Settings
- A Visit Site link that opens your subdomain in a new tab
- Logout
The storage bar turns a warning color as you approach your limit, and a different color once you're at or over it. Going over doesn't delete anything, it just means new uploads get rejected until you free up space.
Files tab
The default tab. A publish toggle sits above a two-pane file manager: a file list on the left, and an editor or image viewer on the right once you open something. Full detail in file manager and code editor.
Stats tab
Three numbers (total views, views in the last 30 days, top location), a 30-day bar chart, and a table breaking views down by country. All of it is real traffic to your published site, nothing simulated. Full detail in analytics.
Settings tab
A form for the parts of your account you can change yourself:
- Site title: shown on the explore page if your site is published
- Bio: a short blurb, also shown on explore
- Email: your login email, changing it doesn't affect your username or subdomain
- Password: leave blank to keep your current one
Username and subdomain can't be changed from here. In the current version they're permanent once you register. See account & security for the validation rules and what's enforced server-side.
