MyJay.net is a free static hosting platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not create accounts for abusive, fraudulent, or automated purposes.
• Reserved names (such as www, api, admin, and similar system names) cannot be registered.
• MyJay.net may reclaim inactive or abandoned usernames if necessary for platform operation.

Acceptable Use

You may not use MyJay.net to host, publish, distribute, or promote:

• Content that violates applicable laws.
• Malware, phishing pages, scams, credential harvesting, or other malicious software.
• Content intended to compromise systems, networks, accounts, or devices.
• Fraudulent or misleading impersonation of individuals, organizations, or brands.
• Spam, unsolicited bulk content, or link-farm networks.
• Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
• Material whose primary purpose is to facilitate illegal activity.

Personal websites, portfolios, blogs, art projects, experiments, documentation, fan sites, and other creative projects are exactly what MyJay.net is intended for.

Service Limits

MyJay.net currently operates with platform limits that may change over time as the service evolves.

• Storage limits may apply to accounts.
• Only supported file types may be hosted.
• Server-side code execution is not provided.
• Automated account creation may be restricted or blocked.

Current limits are documented elsewhere on the platform and may be updated without modifying these Terms.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to MyJay.net.

By uploading or publishing content, you grant MyJay.net a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, reproduce, and serve that content solely for the purpose of operating the hosting service.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload and publish the content you provide.

Search Indexing

Published MyJay sites are indexed by MyJay Search by default, the same way any site on the open web can be indexed by a search engine. You can turn this off for your own site at any time from your dashboard's Settings tab.

Content Removal and Enforcement

MyJay.net may investigate reports of abuse, security issues, illegal activity, or violations of these Terms.

If content or an account is found to violate these Terms, MyJay.net may remove content, suspend publication, restrict access, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate accounts.

Enforcement decisions are made at the operator's reasonable discretion and may occur without prior notice where necessary to protect users, the platform, or third parties.

Availability of Service

MyJay.net is provided free of charge and on an "as available" basis.

No guarantee is made regarding uptime, availability, performance, uninterrupted operation, or preservation of data.

Maintenance, software updates, hardware failures, network outages, or other events may result in temporary or permanent service disruption.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any content you consider important.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyJay.net is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

No warranty is provided that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyJay.net and its operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

This includes loss of data, loss of business, loss of revenue, service interruptions, or content removal.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time.

MyJay.net may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time if necessary to enforce these Terms, protect the platform, comply with legal obligations, or address security concerns.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time as the platform evolves.

Significant changes will be announced through platform notices, announcements, or development updates.

Continued use of MyJay.net after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
