Terms.

The short version: don't host anything illegal or harmful, your files stay yours, this is a free hobby-scale service with no uptime promises. The long version is below, and it's still pretty short.

Your account.

Acceptable use.

Your published site may not contain or link to:

Everything else (personal sites, art, writing, weird experiments, fan pages, "under construction" GIFs forever) is exactly what this platform is for.

Limits.

$ myjay terms --limits storage: 50MB per account files: static only, see /about.html for allowed types execution: none, no server-side code runs for your site accounts: one per person, no automated/bot signups

Your content, your responsibility.

You retain ownership of whatever you upload. By publishing a site, you give MyJay the (obvious, necessary) permission to store and serve those files to anyone who visits username.myjay.net, that's the whole point. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.

Enforcement.

If a site violates the acceptable-use section above, an admin may unpublish it, remove the offending files, or, for repeated or serious violations, ban or delete the account, without advance notice. This is a small free service run without a legal team; enforcement is "best judgment," not a formal process with appeals.

Availability.

MyJay is provided free, "as is," with no uptime guarantee. It may go into maintenance mode for updates, or be unavailable due to upstream Cloudflare issues. Don't build anything mission-critical on top of it. Back up anything you can't afford to lose, you have full access to your files for exactly that reason.

Changes.

These terms may change as the platform grows past Phase 1. Meaningful changes will be mentioned in the announcement banner and dev log. Continuing to use MyJay after a change means you accept the updated terms.
